Merry Christmas

Good morning everyone ,well the day has finally arrived, Susan's Garden club  launch with Tonic Studuos on create and craft today at 4pm for a two hour special.. I would like to share a card with you  with a lovely festive feel and let's face it Christmas is not far away now .

Materials used to create this card:-

Helleborous (Lenten and Christmas Rose) die set

The card base is a tent fold card with an aperture cut in the front using the oval stitched frame die set and then creating a frame to go around the aperture.

 The inside of the card is lined with Cherry red card stock which gives the card depth and richness, Merry Christmas sentiment was added inside the card.

The Holly & Berries were die cut in Nuvo ultra smooth card and coloured on both sides with Nuvo Alcohol  pens then with Susan's tool kit add the veins to the leaves and then shape, once the leaves are shaped Nuvo Crystal Glaze was brushed onto the holly leaves it doesn't take long to dry but adds a real natural glaze you see in real life.

The berries were cut in the same card and coloured with pens and then red Berry nuvo drops were added to the branch  & left to dry over night and then the same again on the opposite side this adds real depth to the berries again leave these to dry over night I would reccomend making a batch of  these in one go so you have them to hand without waiting for things to dry.

The Helleborus ( Christmas Rose) was cut from white craft perfect and shaped on a sponge mat the petal edges were shaped slightly with tweezers and then the centre was cut in the Amber Yellow craft perfect and the tips are dipped in craft deluxe adhesive and yellow pollen added to the ends, once dry glue these to the centre of each flower and arrange on opposite corners of the card .

Spider mum - Susan's Garden Club

Well good afternoon to you all, it's been some time since my last blog post as I have been so busy just not enough hours in a day but I am back today to share a creation with you from the very talented Susan Tiereney Cockburn with Tonic Studios- Susan's Garden Club , a brand new collection of 13 x die sets from Susan that I am sure you will all adore especially if you are a collector of Susan's dies.If on the other hand you are brand new to Susan's dies or Tonic then you really are in for a treat as Tonic dies cut like a dream in one pass and that's why I love Tonic. Today's card I am sharing with you is the absolutely stunning Spider Mum my absolute favourite  along with Galvanized  bucket  which is amazing coloured with our Nuvo mousse.

The flowers and leaves are coloured with the nuvo Alcohol  pens and the Galvanised bucket started off as white card and then coloured with the Pure Platinum mousse then a little black ash blended to the side and then distressed to look old with adding the Fresh copper.To finish the card a little sentiment was added Happy Birthday

The flowers were die cut ,coloured with Alcohol  pens to both sides of the die cut and then shaped with Susan's tool kit  which will be available on the shows as long as stock lasts.I will be back to share lots more with you over the next few days.But please join Susan Tireney Cockburn on create and craft Tuesday 29th October at 4pm UK time for a two  hour launch .

Sleeve die collection

Good afternoon everyone, hope everyone is well .its been a while since my last blog post its been such a busy time with prep ect and getting ready for the workshop event coming up at the end of the month , so looking forward to meeting many of you it will be a fabulous day.
Today i am sharing a brand new launch from Tonic Studios  called Sleeve dies, ever so pretty and detailed dies, so delicate in design on a couple of them ,these are great for paper piecing or colouring what ever you  are in to really. There are 6x sets in the collection  and these dies are like a belly band really but so much you can do with them as you will see from my samples and the DT samples.I created a sleeve around a Tonic memory album for a closure, and  a sleeve around a wedding invitation with RSVP  ,  these sleeves  go around envelopes, party invitations, gift wallets,cards its really up to you or you can have them as a decoration on your cards or boxes .

This is the memory book 2 with the beautiful Dazzling Heart Boutique Sleeve as a closure for the album.

Good Afternoon everyone, well Tonic Studios have a brand new launch this evening at 6pm on Hochanda the gorgeous border strips 4x die sets in the collection and they are so pretty, the DT have made stunning cards with these.

With love sentiment added using a label machine

Sister sentiment

Basic layering oval die set

Card blank is 5x7 Kraft card then a layer slightly smaller  going down in size by 1/4 increments  using decorative papers to both layers  the base card has the edge die cut away leaving a beatiful lacy edge to the card front then the next layer  cutting a small scalloped edge and the last layer using the lacy edge and also the stunning detail die that cut into the card stock, showing the pink papers from underneith building dimension to your card.

A sentiment was die cut in black card and placed onto a white scalloped die cut oval this is then placed onto a Kraft card die cut plain edge oval and this is then added to the card with 3D foam pads to finish the sentiment ivory seashell Nuvo drops are added all around the scalloped detail of the oval.

Then some decorative flowers were added to the bottom corner again just adding a bit more interest with more dimension and finally finished with a pale pink satin ribbon and white decorative button, the with love sentiment is printed from a label machine.
