Monochromatic pinhole

Good morning folks, well it's mighty cold and very frosty this morning in cheshire so keep warm everyone.
Todays card is from Tonics sew pretty die range and todays card is monochrome using the pinhole square layering sets that are part of the cratinator on create and craft

 Dies used:
Square pinhole layering Die set
Cherish every moment from flip flop die set
Square layering Die set

Very simple card to put together but i just luv monochrome black on white white on black ,this card is 7"x7" mat and layering all hand stitched with embroidery thread i used 3 strands to make the stitching bold but you can use 1,2 or 3 stands or cotton i wouldnt reccomend 4 strands as it would make the holes to large and could rip your card stock. I then cut cherish from the flip flop set  in black and white and stuck together slightly off set to create depth

Until next time

Home sweet Home

Good morning,it's mighty cold out today so i hope your all keeping warm, today i share another card with you from Tonics latest launch Sew Pretty die range  on create and craft as the craftinator and today's card i used the circle pinhole layering sets these dies are fantastic and i can see i will use these just as much as the circle & square layering sets plain & scalloped as they work together so well

                                                       Dies used:
                                          Pinhole circles layering sets
                                          Scalloped circle layering sets
Square stitch die & emboss set

The card was created using A3 card stock cutting it to the width you like and then measuring along the botton edge to find the centre then mark it with a pencil then measure up approx 2" then from the centre mark cut from your bottom corner to your centre point and again from the opposite corner i then do the same with the cream layer and reduce the size a little to create a nice border around the edge, again up to you how wide you want your border to be i then distressed the edges with Antique linen and tea dye from tim holtz then added black stitching with a fine nib pen  to the edge &  wrapped the ribbon around the cream layer before sticking it to the card base.
I cut 3 different size pinhole circle's in craft card and stitched the edges with embroidery thread i then cut them out of the card stock using the scalloped layering dies as the pinhole dies stay in the card stock i then added the Home sweet Home sentiment cut in black and white card stock and slightly off set to finish,  i  then added the cotton reel and needle from the square stitch & emboss set and finished with a matching bow.

Thank you for taking the time to visit my blog today

                                               Until next time

Have a Beautiful Day

Good afternoon, Another card to share with you today featuring the new Sew Pretty Die range from Tonuc Studios ,such a pretty & detailed collection of dies.
Dies used :
Sew Pretty Die collection - Have a Beautiful Day
Pin hole circle layering  Die Set
Entwining trellis plush peony
Circle scalloped layering die set

The card is an easel card created using the circle layering dies by folding your card stock over and cutting through both layers but slightly hanging your die over the spine of your card stock then cutting the whole of the circle out again to mount onto your base .
The topper i cut from the circle pin hole set  which cuts into the card stock so i then cut it out of the card stock using the circle scalloprd layering die set and stitched in a bright pink embroidery thread and mounted that onto the easel base i then stitched the- Have a Beautiful Day which is such a pretty die and mounted that onto the pinhole topper, for the easel stopper i cut a pink layering die and white pin hole circle layering die and stitched again with matching thread & mounted with foam pads so it acts like a stopper, then for decoration i added plush peony flowers from the entwining trellis die set finished with nuvo drops  gloss carnation pink & a decorative bow.

Be sure to visit again soon as there are more samples to be shown

Bye for now
