Autumnal Oak

Good morning friends, well tonight at 8pm on create and craft we see a brand new launch from Tonic Studios - Autumn Wishes, a collection of dies & 8"x 8" embossing folders be sure to tune in to see jo Austin & Dawny Phillips with some fabulous demonstrations & lots of inspiration,  the samples from the team are stunning.

Dies used :-
Autumnal Oak die set
Circle layering die set
Essentials-Just for you die set
Everyday stamps from Decorative mini stamp sets
8"x 8" Embossing Folder-Simple Stripes

The card is 8x8 and for the background I have used a bazzill card stock in a lovely burnt rusty orange and a lovely shade of green, the wreath was made by die cutting a circle from the circle layering set and then die cutting a smaller circle in the middle to create a ring shape as I wanted to add an embossed sentiment to the centre of the wreath which I did with the gold nuvo embossing powder using the decorative mini stamp sets hello.
I then cut out 50 of the Autumnal Oak leaf die in kraft card and distressed with Tim Holtz distressed inks - peeled paint-Tea Dye-Spiced Marmalade I then  glued the leaves to the ring slightly overlapping each leaf with a hot glue gun.
I then cut out the Acorn in kraft card and distressed the base of the die with peeled paint and Tea Dye then struck the outline diecut on top in kraft card I then used a fine tip glue pen to the base of the Acorn and applied gold nuvo glitter just for a hint of sparkle.
The card base has some mat and layering and the rusty card stock was then embossed with the 8x8 Simple Stripes embossing folder and to finish I added from the essentials die set just for you the corner dies to each corner and finished with a decorative bow.

Please be sure to pop back soon as I have many more samples to share with you
