Materials used:-
Blue topaz Glitter paste
Falling Diamonds stencil
Merry Christmas banner & stamps die
Rococo- penguin die set
The card is 8"x 8" the second I saw this stencil set it screamed to me icicles and then I thought of this cute little character so bringing back the other dies you may have in your collection and then also using the merry Christmas banner sentiment that was a free gift from create and craft not that long ago,
I taped down a peace of accitate and then placed my stencil over the top you can then stick the stencil down with either low tack scotch tape or masking tape I actually used some washi tape as it's cheap to use i then placed some of the glitter paste at the top of my stencil and with a pallet knife I dragged the paste down trying to keep it to a minimum amount of times you drag it down so the paste doesn't spread under the stencil I have to say it didn't do this once in all the samples I made but I tried not to over work the product, once I had covered the stencil I carefully scraped the excess paste off and put the remaining glitter paste back in the jar for future use, I then carefully removed the masking tape and put the stencil in a bowl of soapy water and I washed it straight away as it sets quickly I then placed the accitate to dry after a couple of hrs it was dry so then I could put the card together the accitate has a half inch score line each side and it wraps around a piece of card that is the same depth but in length it's and inch shorter than the accitate this is so we can get the bow effect to the accitate it's also been stuck with the red liner tape to make sure it stays stuck before I stuck the accitate down I created my little penguin and added some little white balls to look like he's been playing in the snow and finished the card with the Christmas banner die & stamps set and a decorative bow.
Thank you for visiting my blog today be sure to pop back very soon as I have more cards to share with you .
