Party Time

Good afternoon everyone & welcome to my blog, tonight Tonic Studios have a brand new launch of Banners and family sentiments which are fantastic the show starts tonight at 6pm on Hochanda.

The card is just a plain DL card Blank with the Party time  banner cut 3 times using the Party time sentiment from the set,the sentiment is  cut in white and black to create a slight shadow , the Son sentiment and Hooray sentiment from the Hooray Banner Set are also slightly off set to create depth and dimension. The black layer of the card is cut to size so the banner sits each side and then finished off with Tonic Studios Balloon & Party hat from Marmalade's world  stamp & die sets.

Wings & things collection

Good afternoon everyone, well it's a gloomy wet day in Cheshire today but there is always a positive that it's a day to get creative in the  craft room . I thought I would share a few recent makes with you all from Tonic Studios Wings & Things.these die sets certainly have the Wow factor for card making and also home decor.

This is a beautiful die

This flower was created by snipping part of the die placing on backing card and the cutting out for hand with scissors ,always look at the die cuts and see if you can see another shape within the die.

Princess die

The background for this card was created using Tim holtz distress inks - spiced Marmalade,Dried marigold,mustard seed,festive Berries

The die was coloured with Nuvo Alcohol  pens .

The back ground was created with Tim distress inks spun sugar & shaded lilac

Festive Friends

Good afternoon everyone,welcome to my blog, Today I am sharing a brand new launch from Tonic Studios- Festive Friends a collection of cute little dogs and cats stamps also a set of Christmas sentiment stamps and 2 different shape Baubles stamps  with matching dies to cut the bauble shape out ,the set also includes the blister packs so you can create shaker cards  something the men in our lives like to play with as well as the children & grandchildren.

These stamped images within the baubles look good on small cards as well as large cards, from traditional to fun there is something for everyone in these sets and they stamp beautifully, really good quality stamps ,what you have come to expect from Tonic Studios.

Good afternoon everyone, This morning Tonic Studios Launched the gorgeous Dimensional Embossing folders with stunning dies that accompany them to create a beautiful classic cards.

 This card is 8"x8" with mat and layering in  grey and lemon and white this embossing folder with a a basket weave it is so deeply embossed it is stunning.
The die cut detail is paper pieced where the flower is and then another was die cut and cafefully snipped out to and the flower was added to the bottom of the card and again paper pieced then  added nuvo Aqua flow glitter gloss pens to the petals.then the sentiment strip was cut in lemon with the backing being cut in light grey  craft perfect card stock.
