Bluebell meadow

Good moning well it's a very frosty morning here in cheshire i have to say i dont mind it being cold it's the constant rain i am not keen on but it's my favourite time of the year , anyway todays card i'm using a double detail die.

Dies used:-
Tonic Bluebell Meadow Die & Stencil Set
Just For You from Pansy Topper Die Set

The card is a Tent fold card I found some  pretty patterned paper from my crafty stash and distressed the edges with a tim holtz distressed tea dye ink with a piece of cut and dry foam i cut the die on the left hand side and embossed, once i removed the die and bits i placed the stencil over the top of the diecut and then secured with a low tack tape i  distressed through the stencil with the cut and dry foam again using tea dye colour ink .
Then free hand i cut a banner shape and matt and layered again i distressed the edges with ink,i cut the strip die out a second time and inked through the stencil but then  cut the 2 butterfly's out free hand bent there wings up and shaped and glued over the top to add depth an dimension to the card.
I cut the just for you in cream card stock and gold mirri card and glued these together with a wet  glue slightly off set then glued it to the banner shape and finished with a cream bow & buttermilk nuvo drops to each corner

Until next time

Birthday Wishes

Good morning, well the sun is shining in cheshire this morning but it's mighty cold, so i think it's a good excuse to stay indoors in my craft room perfect day heehee.
This is the card i would like to share with you
Tonic Dies Used:-
Birthday Wishes Indulgence Chalkboard Die & Stamp Set
Beautiful Buckle Strip Die Set
Deco Oval Trellis Basic Die Set

The card base is made with A4 card stock scored 2" & 4"  and then flip the card and score at the opposite end at 2" & 4" i then cut into the card stock using the beautiful buckle strip each side then backed the design with a strip of blue card stock i then added the Deco oval Trellis flat to the centre the eye catching centre part to this card is created using the  Birthday Wishes Chalkboard Die & Stamp set i cut the base layer in black  to make it pop off the card and to co-ordinate with the top layer which i used black card stock and stamped with versamark and applied fine detail white embossing powder and heat embossed from the underside of the card stock this leaves a smoother finish , i then stuck all the layers together using a wet glue then mounted onto the card with foam pads, i finished the card with a co- ordinating bow.

Tonic Exotic Lily Die & Stencil Set

The card is a double gatefold card, first of all I cut the die out and embossed the die cut, I then placed the stencil over the top of the die and matched up the pattern easier to do if you emboss the card after cutting, I secured the stencil with a low tack tape , I used a distessed ink spun sugar & tea dye from tim holtz and a applied the ink with a piece of cut and dry foam.
I then cut out the small lacy bow to coordinate with the card  and glued with a glue gun just to one side of the card  & added Antique Rose nuvo drops to each coner to finish the decoration.

Special Occassion easel card

Hello everyone hope your all well, I have some very exciting news to share with you all I have been very fortunate to be invited to join The very talented Tonic Design Team to say i am excited is an understatement it is an absolute honour and privilege and i am so looking foward to creating with fabulous products i hope you can all share my journey .
I have been playing with the fabulous Indulgence Chalkboard Die and stamp sets and have been having great fun with these sets so many possibilities.
So this is the card i would like to share with you today.
Dies used:-
Tonic Indulgence Chalkboard
Special Occassion Die & Stamp Set

The card is a 7"x7" easel card the embossed background is from Tonic and is a rose embossing folder
I matt & layered the base card and used the centre die to use as the stopper i added 2mm foam pads underneith the top part of the easel i cut the base in red and then added the white embossed card and glued together i then wrapped the wide red satin ribbon around the back and glued in place then i put the card together .

I then cut the special occassion die out,the base of the indulgence i cut in silver mirri and then cut 2 of the next layer out in white card stock and also red card stock i glued the white and red slightly off set and then glued to the silver base ,the top part of the card i stamped the greeting with versamark ink pad which is clear for embossing i placed a piece of white stamping card on my glass cutting board and rubbed the card with an anti static pad i do this so the embossing powder doesnt stick to bits i dont want it to and gives a more proffessional finish i then stamp firmly down on my card stock i used a red fine embossing powder to the card and tap off the excess and put the remaining powder back in the jar i then heat  from the under side of the card stock to get a smoother finish once the powder is melted i set the card stock to one side for a min to cool down i then place the die around the sentiment and cut out , then place this down on foam pads
The finishing touches are the red pearls across the bottom and a double bow stuck down with a hot glue gun.
