Christmas Trio collection

Good afternoon everyone, Thought I would pop along and share some recent makes with you from the fabulous Christmas Trio's 3 a fabulous collection of penguins,snowflakes & parcels. It's been a very busy time with all the new and fabulous launches there are some fabulous things coming and to say I am excited is an understatement I can't say what it is but you will be so excited I can not wait ,Tonic Studios have outdone themselves more news soon I promise.

Good afternoon and welcome to my blog, Today I wanted to share a collection of cards i created for Tonic Studios Fair Dames die sets which launched on Hochanda just a few of days ago.
These Die sets just make any card or project so elegant and are great fun to create with.

Good morning everyone ,Sharing another card with you today from Tonic Studios Fair Dames and today's card is from  Elegant Emma Die Set

 Materials used :-

Fair Dames - Elegant Emma Die Set

Greek Temple Layering Die Set

Swirling Frame die set

Papers from stash

Satin & organza ribbon

 Silk Rose bud embellishment

Craft perfect card stock

300 GSM base card stock

Nuvo pear drops -Rhubarb 

The card is 8"x8" and the card blank and layers are all made from the Greek Temple die set.

To create the base  you need to cut 2 pieces of card the same size and the back panel you need to put  a score line in and that's going to be your hinge for the  front panel.

the paper pad I had in my stash a beautiful frame which I thought went very well with the die.

For this card you need to die  cut Elegant Emma out in white craft perfect card stock and then carefully cut her from the frame as you don't need the frame for this card,she is then glued flat onto cream craft perfect card stock.

You now need to find an off cut /scrap of pale pink card stock and cut the die out again but only make sure your card is big enough just to cut the dress out you will then add the pink elements to the die cut using wet glue ,top tip tweezers are ideal for paper piecing as there can be some very small pieces, then again repeat the process with pattern paper and finish the dress .you need repeat this process with all the different colours until she is complete then place the die cut onto your card with 3D foam pads.

To make the sentiment you need to cut twice in deep red and pale pink and glue together with wet glue but slightly off set them to create shadow and dimension these are then glued flat to the centre of the  Swirling Frame die as a Plaque then  finish with a beautiful bow and rose embellishment.

Good morning everyone and welcome to my blog , Today we see the brand new launch from Tonic Studios  on Hochanda  at 6pm with three Beautiful die sets and today I am sharing stylish Anastasia .

 DIE SET :- Stylish Anastasia 

Die set :- essentials- Rounded strips - Celtic Bow

The card is 7"x7" with mat and layering using all craft perfect card stock.

Create a shaped  base to the size of your card  using the  rounded border strips in white card stock then stick flat with wet glue to a bright pink card stock and trim with scissors free hand this is then stuck down with 3d foam pads. Die cut Stylish Anastasia  in black card stock and glue flat to you card then you will need to die cut the die each time in a different card stock and paper piece  I would recommend wet glue on the back of your hand or craft sheet and with tweezers pick up the pieces one by one adding a little wet glue to the die cut and place back into the die cut until you have the desired look it does take a little time but we'll worth it once you have all the areas you wish filled in you need to then add the style sentiment that comes in the set this is die cut in black and silver mirror card stock and glued with a slight shadow then finish the card with a co- ordinating decorative box and a bling gem.

Cracker /gift box

Good afternoon everyone,Today we see the brand new launch from Tonic Studios  Xmas Cracker 2017 die set and the stock is flying out the door but I am not surprised as there are so many things you can make  with this set.

The box below is from the cracker die set.

The box is constructed by cutting the the cracker out twice on each side and snipping the cracker in half allowing the longer edge for the base and the shorter edge for the lid but you need to join 2x pieces in length and the base is just your basic layering circle dies or stick it to matching card stock and trim with scissors and again the same for the lid and then it's up to you how you wish to decorate it but it makes a fab box to put a gift inside.

Christmas Trio

Good afternoon everyone, and welcome to my blog. Today we see a brand new launch from Tonic Studios with the ever so cute Rococo  Christmas Trio Dies- 6 Brand new sets available from Hochanda, Gingerbread,reindeer,Santa Clause, Christmas Tree,Guardian Angel & snowman. These dies are  a bit different than the normal Rococo as these have an extra outer cutting edge something I know you have all been asking for so ditch those scissors as you won't need to undercut with these die sets which is fabulous,thank you Tonic xx
Today's cards were a joy to make and so easy with the extra cutting die.

This card was so easy to create  using the Guardian Angel and paper piecing her wings and applying glitter it just makes her twinkle overlayed  on the church window which is just a piece of coloured accitate coloured with the Nuvo Alcohol  pens .

 

This card is a DL shape and I used the city scape from the Rococo travel die set so the reindeer are in flight above the buildings the navy card is embossed just to add depth to the card and then with a white gel pen just dotted the card stock to create falling snow. The reindeer are cut in gold mirri with the largest outside edge and then the next die down in size I cut in  Nuvo gold pearl card stock and then I cut the die again in red card stock to paper piece  the bow and added them to the card on 3D foam Pads.Then finishing the card with the gorgeous  Merry Christmas Sentiment .
