Hello everyone and welcome to my blog, today Tonic Studios are launching there next stamp range called Spring Dreams by the very talented illustrator Tonia Tkach ,there are 5 x sets in the full collection but you can just pick individual sets to purchase.I had lots of fun creating these 3x cards and could have played with these sets all day, it's been a while since I did any stamping and colouring but its given me the bug to get back into it.
All the cards created were coloured with Tonic Studios Nuvo Alcohol pens.

This card shape is created cutting 2x base shapes and placing a 1" score line across the top of the back piece and the placing glue on the score tab ,add the layers using the same die set and then use the basic layering hexagon dies and stamp on the Nuvo stamping card,colour with Alchol pens or your fav medium and layer onto the card using foam pads.
Heat emboss the sentiment using nuvo clear ink pad and white embossing powder and heat emboss, dont forget to rub over the black card with an artistic pad first before stamping,this stops the embossing powder from sticking to your card where you dont want it.

This card is a 5x7 fold with an apature cut in the centre and then a red frame placed around the aperture. The image is stamped onto nuvo colouring card using the same die cut shape but placing the image inside the card so it looks like your looking through the card.
Very simple clean card.

A cup of happiness stamp set
Nuvo Hybrid Jet black ink pad

Pattern paper from Nuvo
Black gine liner pen to faux stitch the card free hand
Tonic Craft knife
Nuvo Kraft card
300gsm white card stock
White gel pen
Nuvo Foam pads
Nuvo Deluxe adhesive
This card is 5x7 tent fold with a 5"x2 1/2" piece of card scored at 1" and 2" with a 1/2" score tab to glue inside the front edge of the card to make a simple stepper card. With mat and layers in Kraft card,white and pattern paper from pad.
The tea cups are stamped in black hybrid ink and then coloured with the Nuvo Alcohol pens, cut out free hand allowing a white border around each one and then each cup has a window stamped , once coloured and cut out place white polka dots with a white gel pen just for added detail.
Shape each cup with your fingers just to arch them and add 2x foam pads to the centre on top of each one and a single one to each side this will help keep the shape so looks more natural.
Stamp and cut 2x ladders and cut out carefully with a craft knife and stack the cups to create your scene,stamp the flowers and place them inside the top teacup.
Last but not least add two strawberries each side of the sentiment stamped on a little banner.
I think these cards would put a smile on anyone's face and you could send these for any occasion .
