Budding vine panel die set

Good morning crafters, new launch on c&c today from Tonic Studios going live from Belfast at 11am with jodie, we see the launch of the new  & beautiful  panel dies they are so pretty

My wonderful wife sentiment die set

Sew pretty rectangle frame cherish every moment die set

The card was very simple to put together the base card is A4 folded in half length ways I then cut the budding vine detail out of red card stock and the base in cream card stock I cut 2 out of each and then placed the sew pretty die in the centre  with foam pads to add a little depth and added the sentiment and finished the card with a red bow and gold nuvo drops.

Vibrant Damask

Good morning, A card to share with you from Tonic Studios Beautiful panel die sets on c&c

The card is a sweet little card I mostly make larger cards but sometimes I do like to send a smaller card and this size card are great to post almost flat I went with a soft mint and white, the die really speaks for itself with this card the sentiment just for you I used the gorgeous nuvo mousse and used like a guiding wax I also added 2 bows to match the card and to finish added nuvo drops to each corner.

Good morning another card  to share  from the Beautiful  Blooms collection from Tonic Studios available from create and craft,as many of you know I'm partial to a monochrome card so just couldnt help myself and so created the card below.

Apple Blossom

Good afternoon, it's a beautiful day here in Cheshire sun is out and boy it puts a spring in my step soon the garden will be flourishing with blooms just like the latest launch from Tonics Studios -Beautiful Blooms die collection on create and craft

Fairy reflections- wishes illustrated paper pack (grace)

The card is 8" x 8" for the background I have used victoria embossing folder and the beautiful image is grace from  the fairy reflections paper pack from a previous launch layered on the oval layering sets ,the Beautiful Blooms- Apple blossom die was cut 4 times for each bloom and I cut these out of white parchment and coloured one side of the parchment with the pink collection of nuvo alcohol pens and shaped on a sponge mat I then finished the flowers with a little glitter nuvo drops to the centre,and then added a decorative gingham bow.

Rising Dove

Good afternoon,  well busy here with prep today for a future launch but I thought I would take a break and share another card with you all from the faith collection of dies from Tonic Studios

Circle layering sets

This card is 8"x 8" and a very simple card to make grey base layer to the card and then the top white  layer I cut a circle apature the beautiful Dove I cut in silver mirri and then cut 3 in white card stock and just glued the body together so the wings were fanned out to create shadow and dimension,I then cut 4 of the Twisted Ivy  corners in grey and then in white and slightly off set again to create depth and finally I added the congrats sentiment again shadowing the sentiment and to finish I added the silver  lining nuvo drops to the corners ,very simple but sometimes less is more

Woodland Aster

Good afternoon ,A card to share with you from Tonic Studios Beautiful Blooms die collection on create and craft

Petunia Trellis Base Die Set

A4 Embossing folder Martha

The card is 8"x8" first layer is a beautiful pale blue next layer in white card stock I used the tonic embossing folder Martha,I cut the base of the petunia trellis in white card stock and then cut again in blue card stock and then cut the detail out i mounted that on foam pads and added to the card I also added a beautiful satin lemon ribbon and matching bow, the Beautiful Blooms I stayed with the theme of lemon and white and I shaped the flowers with a ball tool on a foam mat glued together with Tonic super tacky glue ,the birthday wishes I cut twice in silver mirri card and white and then glued together slightly off set to create shadow and dimension, I then added nuvo duck egg blue gloss drops.

Jewelled Crown

Good morning, Another card to share with you today from Tonic Studios Double Detail Die & Stencils pick of the week on create and craft and also 9 brand new colours in the nuvo embellishment mousse which are gorgeous

Dies used:-

Deco Oval base trellis

Idyllic Garland Fancy -friends forever

Rosalyn embossing folder

The card base is made from the Bowscale card blanks and all layers are from the same set, I then embossed the top white layer with Tonic's Rosalyn embossing folder ,one of my favourites ,I cut the deco   base in blue to then make the jewelled crown pop of the card I cut the jewelled crown base in silver and the detail in white and embossed I then used the beautiful embellishment mousse onto the stencil which I stick down with masking tape or washi  tape, seems to work better for me ,once dry I put the card together i then cut the gorgeous corner die that comes with this set in blue and white glued together slightly off set to create a shadow and placed them so they wrapped around my corners I finished the card with a friends forever sentiment from the idyllic garland fancy die set and added nuvo drops

Daisy Burst

Good morning everyone, well it's a lovely sunny morning here in Cheshire  so a nice bright sunny card to match.
A card to share with you from Tonic Studios pick of the week launched yesterday -Double Detail Die & Stencils with 9  fabulous new coloured nuvo embellishment mousses and if you haven't tuned in to create and craft already jodie is demonstrating all the different ways the nuvo mousse can be used, lots of shows scheduled throughout the week.

Home sweet home from sew pretty die set

The card is 7"x7" the base layer is green then added a top layer  in white and cut the pinhole circles into the card stock and hand stitched with embroidery thread and then cut the centre apature out using the circle layering dies I then cut a circle in the peachy pink card stock for the daisy double detail to sit I used the Aquamarine nuvo mousse and added nuvo drops I then added the Home sweet home sentiment from the first sew pretty launch and shadowed the sentiment and also shadowed the gorgeous corner dies from the double detail set and finished with a pretty bow.

Poppy Hideaway

Good morning, Today we see the launch of Tonic's Double detail Die & Stencil Sets and 9 new coloured mousses ,join jodie at 12 noon today on create and craft for fabulous demonstrations and plenty of inspiration from the teams samples
The mousse is a dream to use with the stencils or using as a guiding wax ect it's texture is very soft and creamy and so very easy to apply I am in love with all the colours there are some lovely summer colours in this new collection , the dies are so pretty an absolutely adorable collection

Nuvo embellishment mousse- Aquamarine

The card is 8x8 with matting and layering I thought the hot pink and Aquamarine worked so well together and any excuse for adding gingham is good with me .

The poppy Hideaway die cut is very easy to stencil, once cut out i then align the stencil to the die cut and then I mask around the edges of the stencil and then apply the mousse with a pallet knife dragging the mousse from the top down to the bottom adding any extra mousse that's left over back to the pot .

I then remove the tape and lift the stencil carefully away from the die cut I found this method worked extremely well for me but you can also apply a temporary spray to the back of your stencil and then place over your die cut so there are no gaps between your die cut and stencil so when you apply the mousse it doesn't seep.

I finished the card by adding a few flowers and flourishes and nuvo drops

Admiral Arches

Good morning,  have been very busy here prepping for future shows & I forgot to post my last card to share with you, from Tonics 4 day deal sew pretty 2, absolutely beautiful sets of dies and so versatile easily changed by snipping bits out here and there, they look great just die cut but then a totally different look when faux stitched or hand stitched with embroidery thread or cotton, they look really nice with silk threads aswell.

Entwining trellis- Delicate Dasies

The card is 7"x7, I created the background for this card using the sew pretty Admiral Arches set I cut 8 of the corners out and glued them together slightly overlapping the edges together to create the square I then created a frame with the scalloped layering squares I added glue to the edge of the frame with a nuvo chisel pen and then applied the silver guiding flakes.

The centre of the card is created using the circle layering sets and I then heat embossed the sentiment with silver nuvo embossing powders heat embossed from the reverse of the stamped sentiment just to get a smoother finish and then mounted it with foam pads, the finishing touch was adding a grey silk bow & adding the delicate daisies to the centre of the bow and adding nuvo drops to the centre.
