A Special Occasion

Good afternoon everyone & welcome to my blog today.
Well are all super excited that the special Tonic Design collection magazine is available to buy and may I add I am really excited that  my creations were added to this issue .The magazine is available in all good craft shops and Asda, Tesco,Morrisons and online retailers like crafty Devil's ect.below I will add a few photos of my creations  you  will find in the magazine but the samples from the team are fantastic and some lovely gifts included, so time to put the feet up over the weekend with a cup of coffee and then go and play.

Window box Cards

Good afternoon and welcome to my blog today.
Today's cards are from Tonic Studios Window Box Die sets which are currently a 4 day deal on create and craft . Today we have shows at 1 & 5pm with the lovely Mandy Taylor so be sure to tune in as there will be fabulous demonstrations.Today is just a gallery of the cards i made for the shows.

Good morning , and welcome to my blog today. I don't know about you but it's a really grey cold day here in Cheshire so I am thinking a perfect day to get in my craft room and play it's much more interesting than tackling the ironing basket ,who's with me ? .
                                     Today's card is from Tonic Studios, from the Dimensions  Window Box Die sets which is a 4 day deal on create and craft at the moment.

                                                                  Today's card I have made flat using the strips off the die & adding the heart from the flip flop die sets ,I luv mixing and matching old with new as it gives your older dies a new fresh look.

Materials used:-

English Picnic layering die set

FlipFlop love is.. die set

Dimensions- Window Box -Buttercup Sunburst 

The card is very flat to put together so ideal if your posting a card the only dimension is the heart as it's been placed on foam pads.

Buttercup Sunburst

Good morning everyone,well that weekend flew by busy prepping in my craft room with some lovely products but first a brand new launch from Tonic Studios this morning on create and craft with Jodie at 10am ,The Window Box Die Collection these are fantastic dies to create with and so different from anything else on the market no measuring it's all done for you in the dies.

Materials used :-

Dimensions- Window Box - Buttercup Sunburst

Sew pretty die set - Cherish the moment square Frame

My wonderful wife Sentiment.

The card is 6" wide but the height of A5 card these cards are so easy to make as the dies do all the work for you no need to measure anything, but don't think they just make cards like  this ,there are so many designs to play with and ways of using them as the Tonic DT samples show.Be sure to tune into create and craft today at 10am- 6 & 9pm for lots of demonstrations and plenty of inspitation.

Nuvo Mousse

Good morning and welcome to my blog , Today I have some cards to share with you all from Tonic Studios latest launch of Nuvo Mousse which launched last week on create and craft.

The 12 new shades of Nuvo Mousse are absolutely  gorgeous and a colour there for everyone. I will list the new shades below as I know many of you collect them over time and like to make a list of colours you still need to collect.

Bright & Zesty

Good afternoon and Happy New Year to you all, first blog of 2017 , I hope you all had a wonderful Christmas and New Year.
 Well there are lot's of wonderful exciting things in store for you from Tonic this year I think there will definitely be lots of you on the island & naughty steps that's for sure, but my lips are sealed sorry, but I can share some creations with you from the 4 day deal that is currently on create and craft with 12 new stunning colours of the Nuvo Mousse which are gorgeous.

Materials used:-

Nuvo Embellishment Mousse-Citrus Green

Double Detail Die & Stencil - Jewelled Crown

Sent from the heart sentiment- Indulgence die and stamp set chalkboard set

Rounded Strip Set- Celtic & Bow set

The card is a 7"x5" Tent fold card base with a zesty green  layer to match with the Citrus green  Nuvo Mousse ,I think the Jewelled Crown Set were one of my favourites  to go with the the nuvo mousse and so easy to apply .

Once you have die cut the die & embossed you lay your stencil over the top it's so easy to line up once you have embossed  the design. I usually apply low tack tape to secure but you can use a low tack spray spray on the back of your stencil to keep it from moving ,and then with a spreading tool apply the Mousse I usually work from the top and drag down in big sweeps that way I found it does not to seep under the stencil, carefully lift the tonic tab at the bottom of you stencil and then wash your stencil in soapy water straight away .

 leave the die cut to  dry for about 40 mins just to make sure it's dry before you assemble your project . 

I added a navy blue layer behind and matched it with a bow and nuvo drops all layered on top of the gorgeous rounded strips that launched just before Christmas I have to say I absolutely luv these die sets and will be using them alot with future launches
