Secret whisper

Good morning, A card to share with you today from Tonic's sweet nothing die collection on create and craft with the pick of the week

A4 Embossing folder Rosalyn

The card is made from A3 card stock to create an 8"x8" card with a side opening to the front,I went for the love theme and also added sent from the heart sentiment to tie it all together and then added the 3 secret whisper envelopes which are so cute. And then finished the card with a pink silk ribbon and then a delicate white bow.

Sweet nothings- Delicate Embrace

Good morning, well I think a few of you are now on tonic island after yesterday's launch on create and craft and already had a dispatch note so they are on there way to you, how exciting

Dies used :-

Sweet nothings -Delicate Embrace

 Lower case alphabet - Clarice

Essentials - just for you Die Set

The card is  8"x8"  and I just stayed with white and lilac for this card I added a matching  lilac card stock and then the white top layer I cut into the card stock with the   delicate Embrace  die and added that to the card on foam pads I took a strip of card stock in silver mirri and then a layer of white slightly smaller to leave a silver border then wrapped a pale co- ordinating ribbon around the strip and placed that on the card with foam pads I then cut the delicate embrace                   die out again in white card stock and with scissors cut one of the larger flowers that are in the design stuck that down onto the matching lilac card stock and cut around each petal  with scissors then added a bow to the centre of the strip and placed the flower to the centre of the bow with a hot glue gun and added a sparkle gem to the centre of the flower.

I then cut out the corners in silver mirri and lilac and glued slightly off set to create a shadow effect and I placed one of these on each corner to frame the  centre die cut

 To finish I added mum to the centre of the card  and not forgetting nuvo drops to the flowers, but this could be for any occasion you wish.

Delicate Embrace

Good morning crafters, Today is the brand new launch from Tonic Studios sweet nothings envelope die sets,these are so cute and pretty today's card to share with you features the Delicate Embrace envelope die set but today I have created a card with the flap part of the envelope as this die set is so versatile it makes such pretty envelopes or masculine design envelopes but you can make so much more

Celtic Dream- With love

The card is 8"x8"  in a light cream card stock and a red wine backing I created a frame with the square layering dies  backed the card in deep red ,I cut out 4 of the delicate embrace flaps in cream with the outer die as they have a verso edge and then cut the detail out and embossed, and it  leaves such a beautiful pattern I stuck these to the card base and then added the cream frame with is raised on foam pads to frame and add dimension to the card .

I also cut a circle in cream card stock and drew around the outer edge in gold mirri  and cut free hand with scissors just to add dimension and a slight border and then added a with love sentiment and to finish the card I added a decorative bow with rose embellishment and not forgetting light gold nuvo drops to the opposite corners ,the inside of the card also matches the front as I have mat and layered the card stock and added a sentiment to the  inside.

The card was created making an easel card with the Deco Oval trellis die set in very soft shades of card stock I cut the  Fancy Letter box  in silver mirri and a light grey card stock and glued together slightly off set to create shadow and dimension I then added the beautiful Aster in light pinks and white and then for the stopper of the card I added the hello sentiment, this card would be lovely to send to a friend or loved one just to let them know your thinking about them,and to finish I added the gorgeous nuvo drops

The key to my heart

Good afternoon everyone,hope the sun is out wherever you are today , a card to share with you from Tonic's Home Collection launched on create and craft with the 4 day deal with the lovely Jodie johnson

Dies used:

Indulgence affections- romantic leaf

The card is 5"x7"

I die cut a whole heap of keys in cream card stock and stuck to the cream card stock in all different directions to give the look of an embossed card stock  I then added the red heart using the outer scalloped edge of the affections romantic heart and then cut the Ornamental lock in gold mirri card I then cut the lock again in black card stock and just used the black key hole and glued flat into the centre of the lock, the gold lock was then raised with foam pads

I typed and printed a sentiment on the pic and then cut the key again in black card stock and placed it just over the edge of the sentiment.

Quaint Bird House

Good afternoon everyone , A  card  to share from Tonics Rococo Home collection

Dies used:

 ROCICO - Quaint Bird house

Embossing folder  Martha

The card is 8"x8" with the oval layering dies I created an apature and then embossed the top layer of card stock I then made a frame going down in size, the topper was cut from the oval aswell and with the nuvo mousse I created a wash of blue sky and green grass I then cut the bird house  out and embossed and stuck that flat to another white piece of card stock and then under cut with scissors I then cut the bird house in red and paper pieced the red straps down the side and the roof top 

I cut a slither of card stock for the stand as if it were standing on the grass, then I cut a strip of green card stock and snipped into it to get the blade of grass look trying to create a garden scene in a frame.

 I cut the bird out in white card stock then the little heart that pops out i coloured red with my nuvo pens and stuck it back in the bird die cut and I stuck him on the frame I also added a decorative ribbon and matching bow to match the birdhouse and then added a stamped greeting from  the mini stamps sets.

Vibrant Damask

Good morning crafters,  well it's an absolutely beautiful warm sunny day here in Cheshire definitely a day to spend in the garden,but first  my last card from the gorgeous pattern panel die collection

Budding vine pattern panel

Good afternoon crafters, as promised another card to share with you from Tonic's  Pattern panel dies available on create and craft

Birthday Wishes Sentiment Die

Card size 10"x 7"

I thoroughly enjoyed making this card as I got to play with the gorgeous nuvo mousse in a spritzer bottle oh it leaves such a gorgeous finish on your card stock with the lovely shimmer from the pigment in the mousse , I sprayed my card stock and just left it to dry naturally and then placed a book on top just to flatten it out until I was ready for it ,as you can see I spritzed the backing card to the panel die and then everything was kept plain and simple in the cream card stock I edged the outer frame with the nuvo chisel glue pen and then added the nuvo gold guiding  flake  I then added the banner with the gorgeous birthday wishes sentiment and gave that the shadow effect and finished with gold and cream bows and not forgetting the light gold nuvo drops

Patterned Panel - Vibrant Damask

Good afternoon crafters, I seem to be in a pastel mode at the moment mint and pale blue being my favourite  colours  maybe I'm thinking about summer and warmer days to come so today yep you guessed correctly pale blue it is from Tonic Studios Patterned Panel launch over on create and craft

Everyday Mini Decorative Stamp Set

The card was very simple to put together it's A5 in size which is A4 card stock scored and folded in half with a light blue layer at the back to show through the Damask die cut which I just cut twice I didn't actually pattern match this one there is a very fine line down the centre if you look carefully but as I was covering the centre with a larger topper you wouldn't notice the join in the card  but if it was to be a plain card I would have pattern matched the design which just takes a little time to line up if you havn't done it before but once you have your away,

I then cut the oval and detail Die in the centre from the ornate frame die set and stamped the sentiment with clear versa mark and sprinkled with silver nuvo embossing powder over the stamped sentiment and heat embossed from the back to leave a smoother finish but this is personal choice.

I then put the card together in the centre with foam pads to add a little depth and dimension

I  cut the Beautiful Blooms Woodland Aster I absolutely luv this bloom I cut the base in blue and then cut the detail in white and shaped the Aster with Tonics ball tool and sponge mat it's a fabulous flower forming kit and I don't know what I did before I bought it, it's an essential piece of kit if you are wanting to make flowers for your cards and projects and why not make life easier with the correct tools.

To finish the card I added the satin bow and glued the Aster to the centre of the bow with a hot glue gun and added nuvo drops.
